During season 2023-'24, JazzLab will celebrate its 30th anniversary. We will do so with three projects for which we are joining forces with W.E.R.F. Records, which is also blowing out 30 candles. The two partners are giving carte blanche to a young talent (Louise van den Heuvel), highlighting an icon of Belgian jazz (Chris Joris) and presenting a multidisciplinary project (Dans Kapot with A Small World).

There are also tours by up-and-coming talent Gert-Jan Dreessen, who gathered a fantastic band around him; reed player Joachim Badenhorst gives his imagination free reign, supported by a visual contribution by none other than Rinus Van de Velde; we go on tour with the intriguing double bill with Eve Beuvens and OERHERT; and guitarist Vitja Pauwels presents his grooving quartet Early Life Forms. The musical drawing project Drawing Basses is also back. In short: it will be a season full of unusually exciting and beautiful Belgian jazz!
