Nona signed the charter Juist is Juist and has been applying its principles in its daily actions for years. Nona acts according to the principles of fair practice: transparency, solidarity, sustainability, responsibility.

● Nona is a business partner of integrity that treats caring and solidarity with
individuals and cooperating organizations. Fair negotiations based on
transparency and equality are reflected in clear contracts and
correct implementation of the commitments made.
Nona assumes its responsibility as an employer by employing artists
recruiting artists directly as salaried employees as much as possible, also for (very) short contracts.
Nona compensates all employees according to the legal agreements made within
PC 304. For the visual arts, the recently established guideline that the
scales of PC 329 as a starting point.
● For independent artists, Nona guarantees at least the same compensation as
for salaried employees.
● Nona recruits on the basis of competencies and motivation. Origin, religion, gender,
orientation, disability have no influence on the selection.
● Nona pays attention to well-being and safety at work, keeps labor workable
and ensures sustainable careers.
● Nona has an overall prevention plan, including policies on psychosocial well-being and
a policy against alcohol and drug abuse. IDEWE has been appointed as external
psychosocial risks prevention advisor (015/280050).

Nona follows the Culture Governance Code, established by the Fund for Cultural Management in 2020. Nona follows the 8 basic principles:
