The traffic garden in the Vrijbroek Park is where generations of Mechelen residents were taught their cycling skills. At BROEK's request, Belgian circus artist/performer Ruben Mardulier and his Norwegian colleague Micha Goldberg created a performance at that location for the first time.

Put on your helmet, get in a gocart and witness how the Belgian traffic code suddenly takes on a completely different meaning in this premiere, with a refreshingly absurd look at its countless rules and prohibitions. Sens Interdit is the first collaboration between Mardulier and Goldberg, two artists with a unique, humorous signature.

Hop in a gocart, put on your headphones and get totally enthralled by your audio guide Samantha, who tells strange stories and gives absurd instructions while you drive around in the park.
