At a time when Rambo is obviously obsolete, but bad boy Johnny Depp can still sell a perfume, Sander Celestes De Vlam questions his role models in his studio. Not too essayistic by the way, more of a probing search for identity, and masculinity in particular. He looks into the mirror with an open mind.

Celestes de Vlam is a Belgian, born just in the 1990s and also a recent graduate. He has already been in several collectives and went through life under different names. “Well yes I am happy yes,” he says with glistening eyes when we ask him how he is doing.
